Despite the abundance of water in the valley, saving it was essential, and even more so if our own sources didn’t flow with the vitality of others. Behind the Rafal des Capellans houses, inside a fence, stands an extraordinary example of a traditional cistern, partitioned in green and with a powerful barrel vault. In front is the niche that houses the palette, from where the water was regulated for irrigation or to take to the houses' mill. If you look carefully, you will be able to discover the date of construction. Will you be able to find it? A clue: it's from the Enlightenment era.
