Esporles has also conquered the hearts of travellers and visitors since the 19th century thanks to the rich natural environment. Above the town center are the holm oak forests that rise to the highest levels of the term, inside which there are true enchanted forests. The pine forests also stand out, especially on the slopes and hills that surround Canet, ses Rotes and Miralles.

But one of the images that has captivated the most throughout history is the cool environment that surrounds the Torrent de Sant Pere (which flows into the Torrent Gros), a true ecosystem in the municipality. In addition to trees such as elms, ash trees, shepherd's cherry trees, etc., it’s easy to find ferns, brambles, ivy, Christ plants, etc. Also, the horsetails exhibit their magnitude in the urban area, accompanying the torrent, the road and especially the coolest walk.

Esporles is also an exceptional land thanks to conserving in Sa Granja the oldest yew tree (Taxus bacatta) in Mallorca (with an estimated age ranging from 800 to 2000 years).

This is, therefore, an ideal territory for the practice of ecotourism or ecological tourism, that is, a space where you can enjoy nature through observation, knowledge and contemplation of its natural assets. It’s a land that invites you to enjoy nature in the fullest and most responsible way.

To enjoy a day in this environment, Esporles also has a natural recreational area, the Son Tries area, located next to Camí des Verger, equipped with benches, tables and other recreational facilities for the little ones.
