It was one of the most important spinning, weaving and wool blanket factories in the municipality. We can confirm this because it had about 350 workers! In 1912, Pere Bosch and Maria Cabot sold the factory to the Cuerda y Verdaguer company, which from then on was known as Can Campos. Later it was managed from Barcelona by the industrialist Josep Llaseras and in 1939 it was bought by Manufacturas e Industrias Textiles SA, whose owners were the same as Can Ribes, located next to Vila Nova. Only the name of the street remains of it, but an industry of this magnitude and importance must be remembered by all.
